At Turtle Island Organic Teas and Herbs we believe that through a beverage as important as tea we can help lead
the way to a more natural, Earth-friendly lifestyle. We also
feel we must do this because chemically-supported
agriculture has failed humanity.

It just doesn't make sense for us to promote the
polyphenols and other anti-oxydants in tea unless that
tea is organic. It is the very chemicals stored in our
bodies we have absorbed from tainted food and from
pollution, that we need the anti-oxydants to counteract.
We shouldn't add more chemicals from the tea.

While North Americans are starting to realize we have
to stop using disease-causing, agricultural poisons, the
rest of the world has a long way to go. By encouraging
organic agriculture in developing countries especially,
we feel we are making positive moves by creating markets, protecting workers and getting a high-quality certified organic tea or herb to you for your pleasure and health.
